God’s Plan for your Life!

< ![endif]–> While driving in the car recently, Jeremy and I were talking about the future – what God has for us, etc. I don’t really recall all of what we were saying or talking about – but Jeremy must have said something about not knowing what God’s plan was for his life, or if he was doing what he was supposed to be doing. All of a sudden, our 11 year old son piped up and said “Dad . . . I think God procrastinated on your life plan!” 🙂 We busted up laughing! 🙂 Do you ever feel that way? That God may have “procrastinated on your life plan”? Do you feel like you don’t know WHAT God has for you? Or did you have dreams long ago, but now you … Read entire article »

Perfection

I wanted to post my own personal testimony that I shared with my local MOPS group a few weeks ago. Sometimes you come across blogs or websites that you like – but wonder – who is this person writing all this really? Well – there are no secrets here! Satan likes to keep us in bondage through our secrets – and I, for one, am fed up with it! I am loving the freedom that Christ died on the cross to give me -and I want more of it! I know that God LOVES to take what the enemy meant for evil, and use it for good – to change lives, to set people free, to minister to our broken hearts, and more! You’ve got to read my other post called … Read entire article »

Prayer Warriors . . . are YOU one?!

I just HAD to reprint this!! It was sent to me in an email from Elijah List. (Just to let you know . . . Their website (and emails) are a bit of a sensory overload (with ads and info) – and I don’t necessarily agree with their marketing techniques (ie – all the sales ads I get via email) – but many of the words of encouragement, prophecy, etc have really been timely in my life. I encourage you to check it out.) This is at the heart and core of who I am and what I have been trying to tell many of my friends and family! It’s full of so much that God has been teaching me lately about prayer and the authority I have … Read entire article »

"My Favrit Book . . . "

I just had to post this! My 6 year old, 1st grader, had to write (in public school) about his favorite book. The above pictures are what he wrote! You go son!! 🙂 Here is what it says: “My favrit book is the Bible. It tells abot holy stuf. It has a old tesment and a new testment. It shows a part of a glob(e) at the back of the book. This book is holy.” Who says you can’t talk about God or the Bible in school?! 🙂 And he sure is right . . . it IS holy and it DOES talk about holy stuff! 🙂 Oh – the word “David” and the arrow is pointing to the arm of the person holding the Bible. I … Read entire article »

The Super Bowl and the Super-Natural

I’ve said it before . . . but this year I want my family to live in the supernatural! I am tired of the ordinary. I believe God is calling all of us to live more in His presence than ever before! He WANTS to release His power to perform miracles (healings, provision and more). He wants to release His power to transform lives. Time is crucial! There is no more time to be sitting around on the sidelines just waiting for things to happen. We have to get out there and bring in the harvest. We need to minister to those around us. We need to get our eyes off of ourselves – our selfish desires, our needs and wants, our “future ministry” – and focus on the … Read entire article »

Today is a day to Fight!

Yesterday was a good day! I woke up for church and hopped in the shower as usual. I wasn’t terribly excited about going to church. Lately it had has felt like . . . church . . . like religion. . . not like the living, active, exciting, ever-changing relationship and celebration that it used to be. I don’t want church. I don’t want to start off with a hymn, sing 3 worship songs – 1 slow, 1 upbeat and 1 multi-cultural, then sit down, watch and listen to the announcements, give our tithe, say hello to everyone as we shuffle off the kids to their classes, then sit and listen to the pastor preach a good sermon, but end on time so as to keep the … Read entire article »
